An unexpected announcement about the short film that will debut with Pixar's second feature of 2015, The Good Dinosaur, was announced today via the LA Times. Even more exciting is what the short film is about! The title of the short film is Sanjay's Super Team, and if it sounds like it's about a superhero team, well, that's because it is- just not the kind of team that you would typically imagine. This past Thursday, Pixar fans waited in anticipation as the rollout of the Cannes Film Festival 2015 roster was reveled. I am happy to announce that Inside Out is officially premiering at the esteemed festival, the second time directing and producing duo Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera; their first time premiering a feature at Cannes was in 2009 with Up (my favorite Pixar film). This announcement is very telling of the kind of quality that Inside Out will be bringing to the table, which is very exciting to behold. This past week, Pixar held a press event at the studio to showcase the hard work and dedication that took the team behind Inside Out five and a half years to complete! In due process, we back at home have been overwhelmed with new stills, pieces of concept art, and dozens of photos of the team doing what they do best- making incredible films! In addition, the official website for Inside Out has gone live, giving us a fantastic taste of what the soundtrack will sound like!
