"She's Almost Here" TV Spot:

Spanish International Trailer:

Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory welcomes back to the big screen everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres), who’s living happily in the reef with Nemo (voice of Hayden Rolence) and Marlin (voice of Albert Brooks). When Dory suddenly remembers that she has a family out there who may be looking for her, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s prestigious Marine Life Institute, a rehabilitation center and aquarium. In an effort to find her mom (voice of Diane Keaton) and dad (voice of Eugene Levy), Dory enlists the help of three of the MLI’s most intriguing residents: Hank (voice of Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus who frequently gives employees the slip; Bailey (voice of Ty Burrell), a beluga whale who is convinced his echolocation skills are on the fritz; and Destiny (voice of Kaitlin Olson), a nearsighted whale shark. Deftly navigating the complex innerworkings of the MLI, Dory and her friends discover the magic within their flaws, friendships and family.

Directed by Andrew Stanton and produced by Lindsey Collins, the film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. Finding Dory swims into theaters June 17, 2016.

Along with some very exciting new shots from both the TV Spot and the trailer, these two stills show off exquisite lighting design. To be honest, the shot directly above looked at first live-action hadn't Dory or Hank been in the frame. The light refracting from the tank's surface water onto the metal beams above along with the reflection of the water on the glass panels is absolutely outstanding work. The most impressive, however, is the light and water effects in the cup that Dory is swimming in- it truly feels believable. I'd also like to point out that the new RIS Renderman technology that is being used for the first time on Finding Dory gives real depth and life to the character's eyes. Specifically, Hank's eyes have stood out as really finely detailed around the iris and pupil. This is some truly breathtaking work.

Finding Dory EASTER EGGS:

Both of the new stills, along with previous shots that have been uncovered over the past several months, feature hidden Pixar Easter Eggs! Wondering what they are? We'll look no further than this compilation of images I've designed to highlight some of the many Pixar Easter Eggs we are sure to find when watching the film in June!

The first hidden Easter Egg found was way back in August of 2015 when the first still image of Finding Dory was presented at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA. This Easter Egg is Darla, the Dentist's niece, from Finding Nemo:

the next Easter Egg was found by our friends over at The Pixar Post, who identified the meaning behind numbering on the side of a boat from the Japanese International Trailer. As you may be able to tell, the boat has the numbers 1200 and 86 on the side, the former referencing the Emeryville, CA address of the acclaimed studio, and the latter referencing the year, 1986, that Pixar was founded:

The third Easter Egg was also found by our friends over at The Pixar Post, who noticed that the tags on the sea lion duo Fluke and Rudder read A1 and 13, referencing A113, one of the classic Pixar Easter Eggs. While the numbers are not visible from the new still, they can be easily identified on a new shirt featuring the duo alongside sea lion Gerald available for purchase at DisneyStore.com. For those of you who may not know, A113 refers to the classroom number at Cal Arts where Pixar founder John Lasseter and animators/directors Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and Brad Bird, among many others, learned how to animate!

Last but not least, the newest addition to the Finding Dory Easter Egg hunt is from the second of the two new stills released yesterday, featuring a calendar in the very back of the room with the name of Director Andrew Stanton's last animated feature and our very own lovable robot WALL-E:

This is now where I challenge you to try and find any Easter Eggs in any of the existing Finding Dory stills or trailers that are available on the internet! I'm excited to see what you can come up with!
