Along with the trailer debut, Disney announced that the special will premiere in theaters in front of Pixar's Coco on November 22nd, 2017. Watch the official trailer for Disney's Olaf's Frozen Adventure after the break! Official Trailer for OLAF'S FROZEN ADVENTURE:Good Morning America:The 21-minute feature takes place during the holiday season and follows Olaf as he sets out to find a family tradition fit for Elsa and Anna, who realize they don't have any to call their own. Watch the trailer above for a preview of Olaf's fun-filled adventure, complete with a Christmas tree, a fruit cake and candy canes. The pairing of Olaf's Frozen Adventure with Coco is a first for the Pixar and Disney Animation teams. Previously, only Pixar produced entertainment, usually in the form of a theatrical short film, would play before a Pixar feature while exclusively Disney Animation produced entertainment would play before a Disney Animation feature. However, while this new Disney and Pixar pairing is out-of-the-norm, the new endeavor makes perfect sense. Olaf's Frozen Adventure will be able to get a theatrical release and Pixar's Coco may get more attention due to the popularity of the Frozen brand and characters. Even if this melding of the two studios continues to blur the lines between the unique styles from both Pixar and Disney, the Holiday themed Frozen special and Dia de los Muertos centric feature film Coco seam to perfectly fit with one another. Let's not forget how much fun Olaf's Frozen Adventure looks. Not only are several different Holiday traditions represented in the 21-minute special, the added bonus of new songs and returning feature film cast really seam to represent a significant appreciation for the special Frozen formula and producing theatrical quality entertainment.
