In an exciting exclusive event this morning on Disney's Facebook Live, Director Rich Moore (Wreck-it Ralph, Zootopia) Co-Director Phil Johnston, and star John C Reilly officially announced that a yet-untitled Wreck It Ralph Sequel will hit theaters on March 9th, 2018. The sequel to the 2012 original film will replace Walt Disney Animation Studios' previous March 2018 release of Gigantic, which will now debut in theaters on November 21, 2018. Walt Disney Animation Studios' upcoming classic Moana, set to sail this November 23rd, explodes off the screen in the film's first teaser trailer which debuted just this morning! Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Princess & the Frog), Moana comes hot off the heals of Disney ANimation's most recent $1 Billion dollar-grossing classic, Zootopia, which followed Tangled, Wreck-it Ralph, Frozen, and Big Hero 6 as part of the studios most recent resurgence. Yesterday Disney Animation fans rejoiced with the news that Walt Disney Animation Studios will debut the teaser trailer for November 23rd's Moana this Sunday, June 12th! Since the exciting new musical adventure will star Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson as titular Moana's trusty demigod Maui, Johnson took to Twitter yesterday to reveal the film's teaser poster and trailer news, and boy are we excited!
